Hello.
As this week starts i reminisce over some photos from my trip to Vietnam. This day i'm showing you photos from Hue, the Imperial City.  Nacional capital until 1945 . 

During the Vietnam war Hue central location very near the border between the North and South put it in a vulnerable position. In the Tet Offensive of 1968, during the Battle of Hue , the city suffered considerable damage not only to its physical features, but its reputation as well, most of it from American firepower and bombings on the historical buildings as well as the massacre at Hue committed by the communist forces.  Many historical areas of the city are currently being restored.

No inicio desta semana deixo-vos algumas imagens captadas na região central do Vietnam,  Hue, a Cidade Imperial.

Hue foi a capital do Vietnam até 1945. Durante a guerra do Vietnam, a sua localização central, perto da fronteira entre o Norte e o Sul colocou-a numa posição muito vulnerável. Na ofensiva de Tet em 1968, durante a batalha de Hue, a cidade sofreu danos consideráveis​​, não só às suas características físicas, como à sua reputação, sendo os edifícios históricos vítimas da maior parte do poder de fogo e bombardeamentos americanos, assim como o massacre de Hue cometido pelas forças comunistas. Actualmente ainda se encontra alguma destruição concomitante a elaborados restauros.
